Triple Moon Tattoo is committed to providing you the best tattooing experience. Our artists have over 25 years of experience and are here to help you during the entire tattoo process.

The decision to get a tattoo is a big one – particularly if it’s your first; you might have questions about selecting tattoo designs, finding just the right artist, and more. Here is some important information before getting your first tattoo and answers to questions you may have.

Do tattoos hurt?

Yes! However, they aren’t anything that you can’t work through with some slow breathing. We do not encourage numbing gels, as they make the skin less receptive to tattoo pigments.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We are appointment only. However, from time to time we have a spare moment to accommodate your spontaneity. Feel free to give us a call or text at 919-916-7564.

How much do tattoo's cost?

Each artist here has their own hourly rate. Currently, they range from $140 an hour to $150 an hour. If you are coming in for a walk-in, we may just price you by the piece. Our minimum is $100.

MAY I BRING A FRIEND?

Yes, by all means, bring some moral support if you really need it. However, please bear in mind that we are trying our best to give you an amazing tattoo. We need a somewhat quiet and calm environment to concentrate. Please keep it down to one person.

MAY I BRING MY CHILDREN TO MY APPOINTMENT?

We here at Triple Moon Tattoo absolutely adore children, and for that specific reason, we do not allow them to stay. There are many requirements to a safe and healthy environment for tattooing. Explaining cross-contamination to a child falls on deaf ears. It is for their safety and yours that they may not tag along.

How do i schedule an appointment for a consultation?

Each artist has their preferred method of contact. Please refer to the contact section on this website, or call the shop.

Will you finish someone else's work?

It is possible, but there must be extenuating circumstances surrounding the situation. This is a tricky task due to respect for other artists, as well as conflicting styles.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We prefer cash if at all possible; however, we will happily take Visa and MasterCard.

DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Every artist charges their own deposit. This deposit will come off the price of your tattoo, provided that you show up to your scheduled appointments, or reschedule within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment. Cancellations result in forfeiture. You are allowed two rescheduling opportunities. After that, you will have to put down another deposit. It takes considerable effort to schedule and reschedule clients, especially with short notice. People who no-show without warning are first and foremost “jerks”. They are also fired at the artist’s discretion. Please remember we are independent contractors. We do not have paid vacation, health insurance, pensions, or 401(k) plans. When you don’t show up, we lose a day’s pay. We are extraordinarily thankful to everyone who bears this in mind.

Touch-ups

Everyone at Triple Moon Tattoo is exceptionally experienced. If there is any fault in your tattoo due to our mistake, we will absolutely correct it for you at no cost. We want nothing more than for you to have an amazing piece of artwork on your body. We expect you to follow the aftercare instructions given carefully. Provided that you do that, there should be no reason for touch up. If for some reason your tattoo does not heal well, that is no fault of ours, you will be charged a small fee depending on the degree of work required to fix your tattoo. Please keep in mind that even though we can touch up tattoos, they are never as good the second time around. Please do not pick, scratch, swim with, or over-moisturize your new baby as it needs to sufficient time to heal. Lastly, please also note, that we do not offer cover-ups on existing tattoos.
